Role Purpose:
The Coordinator is a key member of the school team who works together to support the mission and values of the schools. The Pre Primary Coordinator is responsible for the operation and administration of the preschool-age classrooms. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mentoring and supervising subject teachers in administrative and special duties
Inspiring the teachers to be the best that they can be
Lead by being early adopters of new ideas/processes/tools and ensuring that their team members live the EKYA culture
Oversee the syllabus in the assigned section on a regular basis.
Ensure delivery of homework schedules and submissions (homework log)
Follow up on timely preparation of test and exam papers and submission to the Head of Schools
Check on timely completion of corrections (Homework, Classwork, Formative and Summative Assessments)
Timely update and maintenance of student marks and feedback records
Follow up on the goal-setting & mentoring program.
Ensure that PTM records (both scheduled and one-off) are updated and uploaded on our school management system
Ensure maintenance of the Student Code of Conduct records
To plan, organize and follow up on Field Trips
Ensure that student scorecards are maintained and updated in the assigned section
Supervise the updation of awards lists and details when required
A regular check of uniform and tardiness (escalated from Grade Teachers)
Ensure student information forms are collected and handed over to the administration office by teachers
Ensure timely response to parent queries by teachers/grade teachers
Ensure that class bulletin boards are used effectively and changed periodically
