Role and Responsibilities:
The Head of Admissions plays a critical role in leading and managing the admissions process. This individual is responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to attract and enrol students who embody the values and academic excellence of our institution. The Head of Admissions will be the primary point of contact for families, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the initial inquiry to enrolment.
Admissions Strategy and Planning:
Develop comprehensive admissions strategies aligned with the school's mission, vision, and values, ensuring the enrolment of a diverse and talented student body.
Collaborate with school leadership and the admissions team to set annual enrolment targets and devise action plans to achieve these goals.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the admissions landscape.
Recruitment and Outreach:
Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, residential communities, corporates and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the school's visibility and reputation within the community.
Organize and participate in outreach events, open houses, fairs, and other such initiatives to promote the school and attract prospective students and their families.
Utilize digital marketing channels and social media platforms to effectively reach and engage with prospective students and parents.
Admissions Process Management:
Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for applicants and their families.
Review applications and conduct interviews to assess candidates' compatibility with the school's academic and co-curricular programs.
Make informed admissions decisions based on applicants' qualifications, achievements, and potential contributions to the school community.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of admissions data, including applicant demographics, conversion rates, and enrollment trends.
Generate regular reports and provide analysis to the school leadership, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the admissions process.
Staff Management and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the admissions team to ensure a customer-centric and results-oriented approach.
Conduct performance evaluations, set professional development goals, and provide ongoing training to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in admissions management, preferably in an international or IB school setting.
In-depth knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and its admissions requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to build and lead a successful admissions team.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use insights for strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms for student recruitment purposes.
