Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Mother Teacher to join our pre-primary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating, supportive, and engaging learning environment for young children while fostering a strong foundation in core subjects. This role is crucial in the early educational journey, requiring a blend of pedagogical skill, patience, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities across Mathematics, Science, and English for pre-primary students.
  2. Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation.
  3. Provide individualized attention and support to students, helping them develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
  4. Assess student progress regularly through observation and informal assessments, providing constructive feedback to parents and administration.
  5. Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery and student development.
  6. Manage classroom behavior in a positive and constructive manner, promoting discipline and respect.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: A Diploma or Vocational qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is mandatory.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience working as a teacher, preferably in a pre-primary setting.

Subject Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in teaching foundational concepts in Mathematics, Science, and English at the pre-primary level.

Skills: Strong communication skills, creativity in teaching, patience, and classroom management abilities.

Job Scope

The Mother Teacher will be responsible for overseeing the daily educational activities for the pre-primary class, ensuring all learning objectives are met effectively.
