1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to educatorOne, a specialized online K-12 recruitment operating system owned and operated by School Serv (India) Solutions Private Limited. By registering an account, posting a job vacancy, uploading a resume, or otherwise accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a school, educational trust, or corporate group, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. User Classification and Accounts

• School Users (B2B): Educational institutions, administrators, or trustees who purchase subscription plans to post jobs, access the applicant tracking system, and receive candidate matches.
• Job Seekers (B2C): Individuals seeking employment in teaching, administrative, non-teaching, or school leadership roles.
• Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any unauthorized access or breach of security must be reported to the platform administration immediately. Sharing login seats with external entities or competitor schools is strictly prohibited, it may lead to suspension of your account.

3. B2B Commercial Terms, Job Slots, and Billing

• Subscription Models: School Users agree to pay the annual platform fee associated with their selected tier (Starter, Standard, Plus, or Enterprise) as detailed in our pricing matrix. Platform access is billed annually and is non-refundable.
• Rotational Active Job Slots: A subscription grants the school a set number of concurrent "active job slots". A slot is occupied as long as a hiring campaign is active on the dashboard. Once a job is successfully filled and closed, or cancelled before matching begins, the slot is cleared and may be reused for a completely different role at no extra cost.
• Success-Based Placement Fees: In addition to the platform fee, School Users agree to pay a success-based placement fee calculated as a percentage of the hired candidate's annual Cost to Company (CTC) based on their subscription tier.
• The 15-Day Payment Rule: Invoices are generated automatically on the candidate's physical date of joining. School Users must clear the invoice within 15 calendar days of candidate joining to activate the 60-day free replacement guarantee and maintain the candidate's profile lock on the platform.
• Late Payment and Deactivation Penalties:
  • Past 15 Days: The 60-day free replacement guarantee is permanently voided.
  • Past 30 Days: The candidate's profile lock is automatically lifted (allowing them to apply to other schools), and the school's platform access will be suspended.
  • Grace Period & Blacklisting: Following a 5-day grace period, non-paying schools are permanently blacklisted and deactivated from the ecosystem.
• Mid-Year Upgrades: Schools may upgrade their subscription package mid-year. The difference in the annual platform fee will be calculated on a prorated monthly basis for the remainder of the active contract term.

4. Subscription Cancellations (B2B School Users)

• Annual Subscription Plans: educatorOne offers annual subscription tiers (Starter, Standard, Plus, and Enterprise) as detailed in our pricing matrix. Subscription agreements are locked for a contract period of one year.
• Cancellation Requests: School Users may request to cancel their subscription at any time during the active contract period by emailing our support desk or initiating cancellation from their administrator dashboard.
• No Mid-Term Refunds: Upon cancellation, platform access will remain active until the end of your current annual billing cycle. educatorOne does not offer prorated or partial refunds for the remaining unused months of an active annual subscription.
• Auto-Renewal Settings: If auto-renewal is enabled on your account, you can disable it at any time before your renewal date to prevent billing for the subsequent year.

5. Refund Policy for Subscription Fees

• Platform Subscription Fees: Annual platform access and software-as-a-service fees are completely non-refundable once the subscription is activated and access to educatorOne is provisioned.
• Service Delivery Failure: In the rare event that educatorOne is permanently unable to deliver its core software services due to systemic platform failures within our control, a prorated refund for the remaining unutilized months of the active subscription will be processed.

6. B2C Job Seeker Protections

• 100% Free Forever: In compliance with the Government of India labor guidelines, registration, resume optimization, automated matching, and career placement services are completely free for all Job Seekers. educatorOne will never charge candidates any registration or placement fees.
• Data Masking and Privacy: Candidates maintain complete discretion. A Job Seeker's contact details (such as phone number, email address, and current employer name) are kept fully masked from all schools until the candidate formally consents to a specific interview slot proposal.
• Voluntary Document Storage: Job Seekers are not required to upload sensitive personal documents (such as B.Ed. degrees, CTET certificates, or previous salary slips) during initial onboarding. Document collection is strictly optional and is only triggered when a candidate advances to a demo class or final offer negotiation stage.

7. AI Features and Sage Recruitment Agent

• Role of Sage: educatorOne utilizes an autonomous K-12 AI recruitment assistant branded as Sage to automate resume parsing, pedagogical scorecarding, and coordination logistics. Sage is a tool to assist human decision-making, and final selection is always determined by the school administrators.
• Sage Scribe Consent: Our interview assistant, Sage Scribe, transcribes online interviews held via platforms like Google Meet. By participating in an interview scheduled through the platform, candidates and school representatives consent to the secure recording and transcription of the conversation strictly for internal evaluation scorecards. These transcripts are strictly isolated and are never shared with third parties or used to train public AI models.

8. Intellectual Property and Platform Abuse

• Proprietary Rights: The educatorOne platform, the Sage AI persona, all codebases, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of School Serv (India) Solutions Private Limited.
• Anti-Circumvention Policy: School Users are strictly prohibited from bypassing the platform to hire candidates introduced by educatorOne without paying the contractually agreed success-fee. Any attempt to contact masked candidates directly or share candidate profiles outside of the dashboard constitutes a material breach of this agreement and will result in instant account deactivation, forfeiture of all fees, and legal action.

9. Duplicate, Erroneous, or Failed Transactions

• Accidental Double Payments: If a user is accidentally billed twice for a single transaction due to a network disruption or payment gateway lag, the duplicate amount will be refunded.
• Transaction Failures: In cases where money is debited from a user's bank account but the subscription is not activated on our platform, the gateway will automatically roll back the transaction.
• Processing Timelines: Verified refunds for erroneous, failed, or duplicate payments will be processed and credited back to the user's original payment source (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet) within 7 to 14 business days, in accordance with standard Indian banking and payment gateway guidelines.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
