Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PRT English Teacher to join our dynamic primary education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where primary students can develop a strong foundation in English language skills, literacy, and communication. This role is crucial in fostering a love for learning and ensuring students achieve their full academic potential in English.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate English language lessons for primary grade levels, aligning with curriculum standards.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Create dynamic and inclusive classroom activities that promote interactive learning, critical thinking, and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Manage classroom behavior positively, fostering a respectful and encouraging atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration to support overall curriculum delivery and school initiatives.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring personalized support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in English or a related field is mandatory.
  • Experience: 2 to 7 years of proven teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Subject Expertise: Strong command of English language teaching methodologies and curriculum standards for primary education.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep understanding of child psychology and effective primary teaching strategies.

Job Scope

This role encompasses the complete instructional cycle: lesson planning, delivery, student assessment, and classroom management for primary English classes. The expected outcome is to significantly enhance student proficiency in English literacy, improve their confidence in using the English language, and foster a positive attitude towards academic learning.
