Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admission Counsellor to join our Admissions team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the entire application process, providing personalized guidance, and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all applicants. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the education landscape, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct in-depth consultation sessions with prospective students and parents, addressing their queries regarding programs, admissions criteria, financial aid, and campus life.
• Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract qualified applicants to the institution.
• Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of inquiries into applications.
• Provide comprehensive information sessions, webinars, and campus tours to prospective students, effectively showcasing the institution's strengths and unique offerings.
• Analyze applicant data and market trends to identify areas for improvement in the admissions process and recruitment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicant interactions and admissions documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience (5-8 years) in an admissions or student counseling role within an educational institution.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but experience supersedes formal qualifications.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of communicating complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong knowledge of higher education admissions processes, university/college structures, and competitive application cycles.
• Proficiency in CRM software and database management systems.

This role is responsible for driving the enrollment pipeline by acting as the primary point of contact for prospective students.
