Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and highly strategic Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead and develop our enterprise-wide security posture. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex security protocols, risk management, and operational security, ideally bolstered by a distinguished background in the military, particularly the Army. This executive role is critical in safeguarding our assets, data, personnel, and infrastructure against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Design and manage robust security architectures, threat modeling, and incident response plans to proactively mitigate organizational risks.
• Lead security awareness training programs for all employees, fostering a strong security-first culture.
• Oversee physical security operations, access controls, and security technology deployments across all facilities.
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external security agencies, conducting risk assessments and coordinating security audits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and industry-specific security regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduate or Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in security leadership roles, with significant demonstrated experience in high-stakes environments.
• Military Background: A strong preference and significant advantage will be given to candidates possessing a verifiable background in the United States Army.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management methodologies, physical security systems, and compliance standards.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage large, diverse security teams.
