Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic Admissions team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the application process, providing personalized guidance, and ensuring a positive and informative experience from initial inquiry to enrollment. This role is central to shaping the future student body and maintaining the reputation of our institution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Conduct personalized consultation sessions with prospective students and parents, addressing their queries regarding programs, admissions criteria, campus life, and financial aid.
2. Manage the end-to-end application process, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
3. Maintain and update the admissions database with accurate student information and track applicant progress systematically.
4. Proactively communicate with applicants via email, phone, and virtual meetings to nurture leads and provide timely, professional responses.
5. Participate in campus tours, information sessions, and recruitment events to represent the institution effectively.
6. Analyze admission data to identify trends and suggest improvements to the recruitment strategy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in an admissions, student advising, or related consultative role, preferably within an educational institution.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong active listening, empathy, and relationship-building abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
