Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic educational institution. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, providing personalized guidance, and effectively driving enrollment targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of educational pathways, and a proactive approach to lead generation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct thorough and engaging counselling sessions with prospective students to understand their academic goals, interests, and career aspirations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for parents, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing comprehensive information regarding programs, admissions procedures, and institutional offerings.
• Execute proactive outbound calling campaigns to nurture leads and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies through various channels (e.g., phone calls, digital outreach) to build a robust pipeline of prospective students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, student profiles, and admissions data within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all applicants from initial inquiry to enrollment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Graduate or Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• Experience: 2 to 7 years of proven experience in an admissions, counseling, or sales-oriented role, preferably within the education sector.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong empathy, active listening, and relationship-building skills necessary for counseling students and parents.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.

Job Scope

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the entire lead lifecycle, from initial contact and qualification through to successful enrollment. The primary outcome of this role is to significantly contributing to the institution's enrollment targets by effectively converting interested prospects into enrolled students while ensuring high levels of parental satisfaction.
