Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our enterprise-wide security strategy, protect our critical assets, and ensure the resilience of our organization against evolving cyber and physical threats. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in risk management, compliance, and security operations, capable of translating complex security requirements into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive enterprise-wide security strategy aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance.
• Oversee all aspects of information security (cybersecurity, data protection, incident response, and compliance adherence).
• Establish and enforce robust security policies, standards, and procedures across all departments and geographies.
• Lead the security operations center (SOC) function, ensuring proactive threat detection, analysis, and rapid incident response.
• Manage security budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments to optimize security posture.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/executive role such as CSO or VP of Security.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and experience with cloud security, network security, and threat intelligence.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage high-performing security teams and communicate complex risks to executive leadership effectively.
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA are highly desirable.
