Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Computer Teacher to join our full-time faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality computer education to students across grades 1 through 12, ensuring they acquire essential digital literacy and technical skills required for the modern world.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver comprehensive computer curriculum lessons to students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12, adapting teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning abilities.
• Design and create engaging lesson plans, educational materials, and assignments that align with the school's academic standards and learning objectives.
• Manage computer laboratories, ensuring all hardware and software are functioning correctly, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to classes.
• Assess student progress through regular tests, projects, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for technology among students.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent certification in Education or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3+ years of verified experience teaching computer subjects at the school level (Grades 1-12).
• Strong proficiency in various computer applications, including MS Office Suite, internet research, and basic programming concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle diverse groups of students effectively.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to perform basic hardware maintenance and software troubleshooting.
