Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated High School Coordinator to lead and deliver intensive IIT Foundation level education in Physics and Mathematics for secondary school students. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with a proven track record of conceptual clarity, advanced pedagogical techniques, and a passion for preparing students for rigorous competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans for IIT Foundation Physics and Mathematics programs.
• Deliver engaging, in-depth instruction to secondary school students, ensuring mastery of complex scientific and mathematical concepts.
• Mentor students on study strategies, problem-solving techniques, and exam preparation specifically aligned with IIT entrance standards.
• Assess student performance rigorously through regular evaluations, providing detailed, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
• Maintain and update teaching materials, ensuring they are contemporary, accurate, and aligned with the latest educational standards and competitive exam patterns.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to faculty on curriculum enhancement and pedagogical best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is mandatory.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant teaching and coordination experience, preferably in advanced science subjects.
• Subject Expertise: Deep, expert-level proficiency in Physics and Mathematics, specifically at the IIT Foundation level.
• Pedagogy: Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics and foster critical thinking in secondary students.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain intricate concepts clearly.

Job Scope

The High School Coordinator will be responsible for elevating the standard of IIT Foundation preparation within our program. This role encompasses not only daily classroom instruction but also the strategic oversight of the entire foundation course structure, student progression, and overall academic outcomes. The primary expected outcome is the successful preparation of students to excel in highly competitive engineering and science entrance examinations.
