Job description
1. Job Overview
The Marketing Executive will support the school's marketing, brand visibility and student admissions activities. The role will involve digital marketing, local outreach, lead generation, school events, promotional activities and coordination with the Admissions and School Leadership teams.
2. Key Responsibilities & Duties
Marketing & Lead Generation:
Plan and execute marketing activities to generate student admission enquiries.
Support local marketing, school promotions and community outreach.
Identify opportunities to increase the school's visibility and reach.
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
Manage day-to-day social media activities and school communication channels.
Coordinate content, photographs, videos and promotional creatives.
Support digital campaigns, website updates and online promotions.
Admissions Support:
Generate and follow up on admission leads in coordination with the Admissions team.
Maintain lead and enquiry trackers and monitor campaign effectiveness.
Support admission campaigns during peak enrolment periods.
Events & School Promotion:
Plan and coordinate marketing support for open houses, exhibitions, workshops, parent events and school activities.
Support branding, promotional materials and on-ground arrangements for events.
Branding & Communication:
Ensure consistent use of the school's brand identity across marketing materials.
Coordinate with designers, vendors and external marketing agencies when required.
Support brochures, presentations, advertisements and other promotional materials.
Market Research & Reporting:
Track competitor schools, local market trends and promotional activities.
Prepare regular reports on enquiries, campaigns, leads and marketing activities.
Provide feedback to management on marketing opportunities and challenges.
3. Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the education/school sector.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of digital marketing, social media, MS Office/Excel and basic marketing tools. Knowledge of Canva and digital advertising platforms will be an advantage.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Good English communication, presentation and networking skills with the ability to interact confidently with parents, vendors and the local community.
Core Competencies:
Creative thinking, initiative, coordination, follow-up, execution skills and ability to work independently.
4. Job Scope
The Marketing Executive will support the school's brand building, visibility and student admission efforts through digital marketing, local outreach, events, lead generation and promotional activities. As a start-up school, the role requires a hands-on approach and close coordination with the Admissions, Operations and School Leadership teams.
