Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Biology to join our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Life Sciences, a passion for education, and the ability to engage students in the scientific method. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver comprehensive Biology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and syllabus requirements for secondary education, ensuring clear communication of complex concepts.
• Plan and execute engaging laboratory experiments, field trips, and practical demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge and develop students' scientific inquiry skills.
• Assess student progress through regular quizzes, examinations, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral observations, while collaborating with parents and guardians to address learning challenges.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development workshops, and professional development activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in biological sciences.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation from all students.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree with a specialization in Biology or a relevant life science field.
• Possess a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline (M.Sc/M.Tech) as per PGT eligibility norms.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience in secondary schools.
• Have strong proficiency in using digital tools and educational software to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex scientific phenomena in simple terms.

Job Scope

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Biology curriculum, ensuring that learning outcomes are met within the stipulated academic timeline.
