1. Job Overview
INVICTA School is seeking an experienced, proactive and academically strong Primary Coordinator to ensure effective functioning of the Primary Section. The role will focus on curriculum implementation, teacher coordination, academic quality, student progress and effective communication with parents and school leadership.
2. Key Responsibilities & Duties
Academic Coordination: Coordinate academic schedules, lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments and day-to-day academic requirements of the Primary Section.
Curriculum & Quality: Ensure effective curriculum implementation, adherence to academic standards and achievement of expected learning outcomes.
Teacher Mentoring: Conduct classroom observations, support and mentor teachers, provide constructive feedback and promote consistent teaching standards.
Student Progress: Monitor student performance and assessments, identify learning gaps and coordinate appropriate academic support and interventions.
Parent & Student Coordination: Facilitate effective communication with parents and students and support resolution of academic concerns.
Academic Records & Activities: Maintain assessment records and academic documentation and coordinate PTMs, assemblies, competitions, projects and academic events.
3. Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. mandatory; postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field preferred.
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant teaching or academic experience, preferably in a reputed CBSE/K-12 school. Prior experience as a Coordinator, Grade Lead or Academic Lead will be preferred.
Academic Skills: Strong knowledge of primary pedagogy, curriculum planning, assessments, classroom practices and teacher development.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with emotional intelligence, patience and effective relationship-building ability.
Core Competencies: Strong leadership, mentoring, planning, organisation, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, school ERP/LMS platforms and academic reporting systems.
4. Job Scope
The Primary Coordinator will oversee the effective academic functioning of the Primary Section by coordinating curriculum implementation, teacher mentoring, lesson planning, classroom observations, assessments and student progress. The role will also facilitate communication among teachers, parents, students and school leadership, while ensuring consistent academic standards, proper documentation and a positive, student-centred learning environment.
