Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students in Grades 1 through 5, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts through engaging and interactive learning experiences aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Teach Mathematics to students from Grades 1–5 strictly following the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and interactive lesson plans to enhance student understanding.
• Develop and create diverse teaching materials, including worksheets, classroom activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Assess and monitor student academic progress regularly, providing targeted support and guidance to struggling learners.
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes student confidence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents regarding student development.
• Develop crucial logical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills in young learners.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is mandatory.
• Prior CBSE school teaching experience is preferred.
• A strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and teaching methodology for Grades 1–5 is essential.
• Strong knowledge of primary-level Mathematics concepts.

Core Competencies:

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and classroom-management skills, coupled with a genuine passion for teaching and a patient, creative, and enthusiastic approach to education.

Job Scope

This role encompasses the complete cycle of primary mathematics instruction, from lesson planning and delivery to student assessment and parental communication.
