DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect the Centre on a daily basis and ensure that the entire facility including class rooms, wash-rooms, play areas, and the kitchen are clean, safe and properly stocked with necessary supplies. Check and manage inventory. Supervise the arrival of children at the beginning of the day; greet and interact with the parents. Inspect and supervise cooking and kitchen activities. Be available to answer parents’ queries and to interact with them when the school finishes. Oversee the dispersal of children after the school lets out; ensure that they are handed over to their parents/guardians or are sent home by school transport as per the existing arrangement. Check the Parents’ App and emails for special instructions from parents regarding meals, sleep/rest, medications etc. and ensure that these instructions are followed.

Review the planned activities for the next day with the teachers and suggest changes if needed. Plan and implement special events like the ‘Event of the month’. Set, maintain and monitor Centre budgets for programs. Prepare and maintain attendance, activity, planning, accounting, or personnel reports and records. Monitor and ensure all center records and files are up-to-date and meet all program timelines and requirements. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching and supplemental staff and recommend their annual increments.
